It’s not a must have but it doesn’t have an equivalent in Cubase and it CAN save you loads of time. I had issues upgrading VMR a while back so rolled back to 1.662 and all had been fine in Cubase 10 Pro. I think the problem on my end was the older Slate VMR I was running.
